INFORMATION PURSUANT TO ARTICLES 13-14 OF EU REGULATION 679/2016

I. Purpose of data processing.

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the communication protocols of the Internet. This information is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the response from the server (successful, error, etc..) and other parameters regarding the operating system and computer environment. We use this data only for the purpose of accessing the website.

Instead, the optional, explicit and voluntary submission of personal data collected by filling out our data collection form, involves the subsequent acquisition of the name and address of the sender, necessary to receive our newsletters, upon request of confirmation of your consent in the registration process.

II Cookies

Cookies are small text files that sites visited by users send to their terminals, where they are stored to be retransmitted to the same sites on subsequent visits. Cookies are used for different purposes, have different characteristics, and can be used both by the owner of the site you are visiting, and by third parties. III. Modalities of data processing – Storage 

The processing will be carried out in automated and manual form, with methods and tools designed to ensure maximum security and confidentiality, by persons specifically appointed to do so in compliance with the provisions of EU Regulation 679/2016. In case of revocation of the consent given for the sending of periodic newsletters, your data will be immediately deleted. 

IV. Communication of data.

In addition to the subjects who may be responsible for communication for express legal obligation, personal data may be communicated, always for the purposes referred to in paragraph I and in accordance with the principle of minimization, to the subjects responsible for data processing that provide services for the management of the information system used by FLAMEL and telecommunications networks (including e-mail). The aforementioned data controllers shall act in accordance with our instructions. The list of data processing responsible is constantly updated and is available at the FLAMEL headquarters. 

V. Dissemination and transfer of data.

Personal data are not subject to disclosure and / or transfer, neither in Italy nor abroad.

VI. Delivery of data.

Apart from that specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide personal data. The provision of data for the purpose of sending newsletters is optional but necessary. Refusal to provide the data will make it impossible to activate the requested service.

VII. Method of collecting personal data.

The collection of personal data is always carried out directly, through contact or exchange of voluntary data by the user concerned. Each contact is included in a mailing list intended for periodic information updates on the activities of the company and its research center.

VIII. Complaints.

You can lodge a complaint with the Privacy Guarantor in any case of unlawful violation of your data. 

IX. Rights of the data subject.

Articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 of EU Regulation 679/2016 give data subjects the right to exercise specific rights, including the right to obtain confirmation from the data controller as to whether or not personal data concerning them exist and to have them made available in an intelligible form; data subjects have the right to be informed of the source of the data, the purposes and methods of processing, the logic applied to processing, and the identification data concerning the data controller and the entities to whom the data may be communicated.

Data subjects also have the right to obtain the updating, rectification, integration, cancellation and limitation of data, as well as the right to object, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of data.
